Are your cherries organic?
At Chinchiolo Farming Co., we take pride in offering both traditionally grown and organic cherries, catering to a variety of preferences and dietary needs.
While our traditionally grown cherries require the use of Pyrethroid insecticide to combat an invasive fly from Asia, we are deeply invested in finding safer, non-pesticide alternatives through active participation in industry research.
Our commitment to sustainability is reflected in practices like cover cropping, efficient water use, and employing beneficial insects to enhance crop health.
Our organic cherries, although challenged by the need for more frequent applications due to the less effective nature of organic pesticides, are grown with the utmost care to ensure they meet the high standards our customers expect.
Both our traditional and organic farming methods strictly adhere to GLOBALG.A.P. standards, ensuring all our cherries not only comply with rigorous food safety regulations but also represent our dedication to providing safe, high-quality produce.
We understand the importance of your health and safety and are committed to transparency about our farming practices. To learn more about our adherence to GLOBALG.A.P. standards and our journey towards sustainable and safe farming, we encourage you to visit GLOBALG.A.P.'s website.
